Madrid, 1974. Spanish and Mexican.
Alejandra López Zaballa approaches photography as a space for revelation and listening: a gesture capable of making visible what often remains on the margins of our gaze and opening a reflection on how we inhabit the world.
Her work is rooted in a sensitive exploration of what art can activate when it moves us: attention, awareness, empathy, and transformation.
She has been a professional photographer for the past 15 years, exhibiting her work, taking on commissioned projects, and providing training and lectures. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Sociedad Fotográfica (RSF) since April 2026.
For the first 14 years of her career, she held management and leadership roles in HR and Talent at BAT, Vodafone, and Accenture. Having lived in 9 countries and visited over 80, she is deeply passionate about giving a voice to people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
In 2022, she self-published her book “Me Seco el Pelo al Viento,” which saw a second edition in 2025 and inspired a companion notebook for her exhibition with the RSF.
