Exactly a year ago, I witnessed an incredible human gathering. I had never experience anything like that in 39 years. I was a small part of the Kumbh Mela 2013. For many of you that might not mean much as it did not for me before, but the Kumbh Mela is something BIG. It is the biggest pilgrimage on Earth! – Kumbh Mela is a religious hindu festival which brought together more than 100 million people in 2013! How something can move so many people to risk health, even lives? … Just the power of faith can explain.

It is an incredible event worth watching at least once in a life time. I travelled there with some other photographers and for 10 days I captured the story of this special, unique and different celebration. I hope to bring it close to you, to whoever is willing to understand another culture, its beliefs and the power of faith. I will be sharing more about it with you soon, in the meantime – Enjoy the video!
